Special Projects Guru
Lindsey is our go-to when it comes to program design and evaluation. She's led the program design process for our Career Readiness Project, resulting in the development a Career & Life Coaching model. As well, she's acting as a key thinker in the creation of "Best U,"an applied learning program for parents receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
Lindsey is a died-in-the-wool asset-building believer. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science at Kenyon College and a Master of Public Administration, with a certificate in non-profit management, at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. During her graduate studies, she focused on individual development accounts for foster youth and explored the role of community gardens in building social capital. After six years in the non-profit world, she joined The Prosperity Agenda and put all of her experience and learning into practice.
Though she’s certainly committed to the cause, Lindsey’s interests go well beyond poverty eradication. She also loves watching and playing sports, expanding her culinary repertoire, touring Seattle’s finest dog parks with her blue heeler mix and her husband, and most recently, enjoying the transition to being a first-time parent of a new baby girl.
