After TPA's 2016 Financial Capability Summit, we heard from Summit participants a need to put better emphasis on program design and delivery to people experiencing poverty.

We are hosting an innovation design workshop for nonprofit service providers eager to generate ideas and put them into action, centered on the following theme: How might we help organizations build client input and feedback into the program improvement process so we can more effectively serve the communities around us?

EVENT DAY

Check-in Time: 9-9:30 am
Workshop begins: 9:30 am
Workshop ends: 4:00 pm

Parking: Parking is available in the UWSC parking lot in the "UWSC" designated spots or on the street. Please note that ACS parking slots should not be used. 

Lunch: Lunch boxes will be provided by CafeWorks and will be served at 12:15pm during the 30 minute lunch break.

We are not accepting walk-ins day of the event, however, substitutions are welcome.

What to expect?

  • Experience a design process, including framing the problem, identifying client needs, brainstorming ideas, creating prototypes, and testing solutions.

  • Generate actionable ideas and methods to test strategies for organizations looking to engage with their clients’ in their program improvement process.

  • Approach ideas and solutions that create opportunities to listen to people’s thoughts, ideas, and experiences to help guide program design and improvement.

  • An energizing day filled with activities, discussion, inspiration, and innovation.
